In a Moment
I sit upon the eagle’s wings
And soar above the clouds
I search my heart to hear the truth ring
Scream it across the clouds
The shadows that covered my hopeless soul
Roll back to set forth the shining sun
My faith was sinking down a bottomless hole
But now the pain is gone and the joy has begun
I was taken away to a moment I would not forget
On the eagle’s wings I was soaring high
Taken to a place where I’m better yet
Forgetting why I was ready to say goodbye
In reckless abandon I was finally free
Breathing in life the way it’s meant to be
Letting go of the torment taken over me
Breaking down the walls, and now I could see
In a moment where everything could change
Suddenly I was a warrior who couldn’t be shaken
A moment where ambition set the stage
And the ferocity of my will power couldn’t be broken
It was the moment that changed my life forever
And at times I drift and forget it all
But the moment still holds my heart forever
Cause in a moment I woke up and realized my call.
