That poured out on my heart when you and me…
Began our journey through life, through this dream
I don’t ever want to forget what it means
To know the love of a lifetime, the love
Who brings joy to the soul, hope to the spirit
Wonder to the feelings and blessings to the sentiments
I don’t ever want to take for granted
The way you make me feel inside
I don’t ever want to take for granted
The way you light up my heart and life
I don’t ever want to take for granted
The music you sing through my spirit
I don’t ever want to take for granted
The poetry you recite through my dreams
The kindness you rain down on me
The memories that sing hope to me
The brilliance of a love so vibrant and real
I don’t ever want to take you for granted
I don’t ever want to forget your love
The elation, the thrill, that you bring to me
The happiness, the exultation, the bliss
You are the rapture in my greatest passion
You are the light that guides my sight
You are the wisdom in my confusion
You are the blessing God gave me to assure me…
Everything is going to be ok because He made a way
When He sent you to be by my side, my insight,
My heart’s hope and my spirit’s pleasure…
The breath that makes me sure – You’re a treasure
Beyond comparison – you are my heart’s sweetest beat!
