In a Dream

In A Dream

When I close my eyes
I can hear my cries
Because I kept seeing you
The fantasy of just us two

Too many thoughts pass my mind
And now I can’t leave you behind
Every fantasy that I think about
Stays in my mind and won’t slip out

My imagination overtook me
My brain just blocked out reality
Now all I see is just your face
While my heart begins to race

In a dream
Or so it seems
I am caught up in a fantasy
I see no trace of reality

So now
I don’t know how
To find someone new
So I don’t have to think of you

In a dream

I want to run away
Because there isn’t a day
When I don’t think about you
In my mind, it’s only true

My imagination overtook me
My brain just blocked out reality
Now all I see is just your face
While my heart begins to race

In a dream
Or so it seems
I am caught up in a fantasy
I see no trace of reality

So now
I don’t know how
To find someone new
So I don’t have to think of you

I want to get to know the real you
But all the while I see it through
That you’ll be in my fantasies
I’m not that sure what’s happening to me

In a dream
Or so it seems
I am caught up in a fantasy
I see no trace of reality

So now
I don’t know how
To find someone new
So I don’t have to think of you

In a dream
