In a Dark Room a Snake

In a dark room snake,
A woman’s emotions are an earthquake:
An absolute command to stay awake,
The helped smile on her lips absolutely fake!
Soon feeling ruined, soon ready to rake,
Her headache doing its worst to become a heart-ache.

Listen then a woman wouldn’t to any sage
Nor time try to find for his fooling adage
Nor for the promised and already paid - for cake
She had yet to for a wedding bake…
And sure nowhere else for a night,
Outside for mosquitoes to take…
A thousand times lesser plight.
