In a corner of my soul, longing burns
In a corner of my soul, longing burns,
Flames rising from hopes, desires, pains,
The ashes that remain – dusty memories,
The illusion of time passing, a fleeting moment,
Your stolen glance, a moment that belongs to you,
Take all you can, but leave me a memory.
Make me laugh, make me hope once more,
In the love that is born from hidden corners,
Our eyes meet, universes merge,
I will carve your face in the stone of time,
If you restore my faith in life, in dreams.
My memories are heavy chains,
In the depths of my soul, I feel the weight of time,
Far from the light of day, in the night,
The unhealed wound pulses in silence,
The bleeding heart barely trembles,
Under the weight of unspoken words.
I await a single peace,
The light that will set me free,
From the darkness you brought upon me,
A hope in the corner of a cloudy sky,
A glimmer of love in the heavy night,
To bring me solace, to give me back life.
The fire of longing continues to burn,
In the labyrinth of lost memories,
Hopes come to life from the ashes,
And love is born again, timid,
In a heart that learns to beat,
To hope, to believe, to love.
