Black beak pointing direction Sky Tail gauging air Wings fluttering on high It's got prize in its eyes From take off to arrive Fly little Birdie Ride the winds of your heart's desire Black Beak focusing freedom’s alive Chart a Course of survival One day we'll shall die Smell the scent of the World Watch nature unfold Fly little Birdie Go humming from Flower to Soul

Hummingbird's can be captivating and fascinating, and stir one's muse into a write. I've never seen one other than when feeding, hovering in defiance of gravity and it is an awesome defiance. Your write is on point, stirring hummingbird wonderment in me and others. Poetry hugs ... CayCay

Hi Arturo, I have never seen a hummingbird for real, only ever on the T.V. This is such a wonderful write my friend. I did feel such joy when reading. Beautiful, both the poem and the picture. "ride the wind your heart desires" is for sure the best advice of all, as "one day we'll all die." Sage poem, well written. There seems to be a urgency to "go humming from flower to soul" and I understand this.

Your poems Arturo are all straight from the heart. Yes, we will all die one day and the truth hit me on Wednesday night when I landed in hospital with food poisoning and my bed was between two lovely but very sad ladies who were both dying with cancer.
