In a Bottle With a Cork

Tuesday afternoon sags
Under the weight of my
                         Uncertainty
Sagging slow and ponderous
No sage wisdom here

Frozen in brittle golden amber
                         Glass
            Fossilized bug

Tuesday afternoon thoughts
Tumbling, tumultuous
Caught slow and
                         Stuck tight
In a sealed glass bottle

With a cork?
