Well hell
   Save a seat for me
   Since I don't believe in God
   I am doomed for eternity

   No amount of good deeds
   Will excuse this pedigree

A great write!! Thoughtful. Good deeds reflect in the same life and so do the bad ones. Here, we call it Karma. I just loved this masterpiece. :)

profound words here... i think sometimes this is our hell...the beyond is much better... i too left the church i was brought up under, i visited many in my time, all have slightly different beliefs...i believe in God and Jesus...do i need to sit in a building to prove it? if so i too will be in hell... hugs :)

No amount of good deeds will excuse the non believer, that's for sure. No amount of good deeds will get anyone to Heaven because we can't make it on our own merit. It is strictly stated by Christ Himself. "I Am The Way, The Truth And The Light. NO MAN Cometh Unto The Father Except Through Me." So all it takes is faith in Christ and acceptance of Him as our one and only Savior.\ God Bless, JB
