Impromptu Show

Work, toil, deceits, ploy
The day as usual as ordinary can be
But damn, this evening
And I’m sure someone is saying,
...Wow! this evening

The rain has decided to at last make an impromptu show

Chaos, panic, excitement, glory
Reactions are mixed
The office girls didn’t carry their umbrellas
The convertible guy didn’t put up his top

Here, there, nowhere, everywhere
Frenzy is at play on the stage of emergency
The hawker rushing to stock his umbrella stand
The office girl rushing to cover her hair
...while he cries for his drop-top car
