Imprints of My Heart

Your in Heaven 'Rest In Peace', Free of pain and in a better place.
Just remember your not forgotten, no one could ever forget your beautiful face.
Your part of our family, that's why its so hard to let you go.
Your irreplaceable, just thought that you should know.
So many sleepless nights I think of you, thought this pain would be over.
Then I remember the good times we shared, you always been my 4-leaf-clover.
Don't think this is good bye because I know one day will be together.
I think of you day and night, on the phone and in the shower.
I know your taking care of Kane, playing day and night until forever.
At least your not alone, your in doggy heaven with each other.
Your my family and my best-est friend.
I'm lost in sadness, but ill miss you til the end.
You never judge and your a great listener that always seemed to understand.
So I always gave you the very best treats and food, always gave you top brand.
You and Kane were both unique, in my eyes a real person.
If I was hurt you were always there to lick it so it wouldn't worsen.
If dogs could get a medal yours would read 'Mother/Daughter #1.'
Or maybe a family dog show you would be the mom and son that would won.
Those sad and lonely days you were always there to comfort me.
That's what makes you so special
Unforgettable and brought out the best in me.
Life for me will never be the same, because we are apart.
But your everlasting love has left you imprinted in my heart.
                                                                                       Joanna
