Impressionistic
While out walking, my surroundings
Seemed a bit impressionistic
And I wondered why I thought so
Since I’m really not artistic.
But the scenery and people
Looked like paintings by Monet
And I knew I never noticed
Things appearing quite that way.
All at once I had the reason
And there was no hocus-pocus.
I forgot to wear my glasses
And the world was out of focus!
