Beautifully written piece. The first I'd seen a footle. I love this poetry form and must give it a whirl.

J, Monet is one of my favorite painters and you've described this painting so well in a difficult format. Thank you for the educational portion as well, and for explaining why this painting has such great significance in art history. I used this same painting in a recent poem of mine. Pretty sure this will be a winner. I'll probably have to think up some more because he does not like villanelle, kyrielle or many of the other types I like to write. I really enjoyed these.
