Impossible Love

I often dream of love with you,
clearly coursing through my mind

But if I stop and think it through,
my thoughts are with you all the time

You stay inside my very heart,
no matter how rough the road we’re on

Strong are those my feelings for you,
and to your heart my love is drawn

I see things as they ought to be,
with us together, you and I

Lost in passion and sick with love,
living for you until I die

This bliss-filled vision is all we get,
a dream, a thought, my love so true

An impossible love is what we have,
my life without the truth of you.....
