Implausible Tale

my tale might seem implausible and free
eager thumbs up with a capital tee
from my pet Charlie, a chimpanzee
What is the whole story asked Aunt Bea

glowing spaceship landed next to me in Tennessee
as pretty as any stock car registered for the Grand Prix
when the door opened, the aliens headed toward me
Thirteen of them, walking in formation of a solid vee.

They waddled a bit like an inebriated chickadee
I had become statue-ized, my feet refused to flee
As they closed in, I noted they were filled with glee
All giggling, I could hear a united tee-hee-hee

They were shorter than I thought, leader came to my knee
My mind was blanked for a bit, not sure how I got free
Did they carry me away to their planet X Y Z?
If I remembered that, I would feel pretty proud of me.
