Imperfectly Perfect

I have your picture on my phone
It's what I see before I go to bed
So that when I finally sleep
Your smiling face is in my head
I'll dream of you tonight
And I'll wake with a smile on my face
I'll tell my self today will be great
And I'll probably end up at your place
We'll be laughing like nothing is wrong
And I'll act like I'm just fine
Play a few rounds of shoot em up
Drinking Landshark with Lime
Friend before lover
You are and so am I
To me you'll always be for me
The imperfectly perfect guy

In discarding romanticism this poem is all the more romantic. So sweet. To the point. Nicely written too. Thank you, Matt. <3
