It's all about politics on both sides and not about truth and morals. Washington is not even close to what the founding fathers foresaw. That's my opinion for whatever its worth.

Impeachment Now is Over By Franklin Price 02/07/2020 Impeachment now is over Senate vote is said and through All but one voted the party, that's what the parties do Matters not the facts or truth. In the House it all began. The asses had majority and Trump was not their man. Began with trumped up charges, anything they might make stick Russian interference, might be the thing to do the trick Spent millions on investigating. Yet when all was said and done, The findings were ambiguous, they had done it all for fun Threw out several other things, finally landing on Ukraine. Surely that would do it, would throw Trump off the train. Again the charges questioned, ones that would not save the day. Asses grasping plastic straws, that should be thrown away Pelosi, Speaker of the House, did all she could to stall. Asses would lose in the end. Elephants had the final call Pretty sure that she was threatened by the party DNC Must move forward with the impeachment, was not seated there for free Then more time was wasted by the house and Adam Schiff, Mostly they were passing gas, there was more than just a whiff. Finally they changed the rules, the Constitution sets, To add to the confusion, roll the dice, and hedge the bets. The Asses passed impeachment, required just majority, Not the two thirds in the Senate where the final vote would be. Pelosi held the papers even though the House was through Tried to control the Senate and the process they would do. Tried to extend her power, and to make the Senate toast Elephants were having none of that, in the Senate, they were most The State of the Union given, Pelosi ripped her's right in two The Elephants, in the Senate, voted no and it was through.

G'day Franklin … we've been copping this on the news down under, and the one thing that sticks with me from your well written verse is - voting on party lines, and forget about right or wrong - thank you Franklin; well done - Lindsay
