Immortals Embrace

The three shots rang out following each other
In a rapid succession ready to vanquish their target
Ready to eliminate him from the roll of the living
He drops on his knees as his assailants run out

He is not dead yet so he decides to give thanks
Lifting his hand - they are covered with blood
With no water cistern and not inclined to sin
He puts them behind his back offering prayers

A brilliant bright light and he is in the presence
The blessed presence of a holy angel of the Lord
Welcome angel of the Lord and be the light of my life
They intone as they embrace merging into one entity
