Immortally Bound

With an age that's counted in the billions, Our growing universe seems truly infinite. Yet at the molecular scale, exists conservation, Where building blocks change, but continue, indefinite. So while we briefly borrow this mortality, Many believe our essence will persist. Faithfully guided by the heavenly or ethereal, Some continuity will survive and exist. As difficult as it is to fathom forever, Our lives are filled by beliefs to renew. Just as the caterpillar precedes the butterfly, A quantum soul may escape to another zoo.
