Immortality
Lord, it is so difficult,
Accepting our own mortality.
It is easy to deny it for awhile
But one day we come face-to-face with Death,
And get a glimpse of Immortality.
Even children learn about it.
We don’t live forever on this earth.
But thanks to you, O Lord, there’s a better place,
And we can live forever through Thy New Birth.
