Immortalis
there was a time
when i was young
and everything
was beautiful
now i have lived
so many years
and those memories are gone
ive loved a thousand lives
and lost a thousand more
never knowing who i am
or what im searching for
ive lived for so long
seen so much
felt so much pain
for so long
that i know not anything else
fear guides me
protects me
cautions me
im lost
in the shadows of my own
twisted
demented mind
darkness becomes me
hate defines me
love has no meaning to me
time is no longer relative
i have lived
three hundred years
and shall live
a thousand more
immortalis
monasteriense
creatura
saddened to the point of despair
never knowing death
never truly knowing life
passing through this world
a ghost
of a man
yet not a man at all
immortalis
