Immortal

I’m immortal and everlasting,
Wasting away in eternity,
Inside my own oblivion,
Where time stands on edge,

I’m humanity and mortality,
Wasting time on thoughts and worries,
Inside my own hourglass,
The sand is quickly falling,

I’m immortal and mortality,
Wasting away in an eternity of doubt,
Inside an Hourglass of Oblivion,
Where time stands still but still runs out.
