Our own moral code, our own moral thoughts, These are the rules we live by. And we know, if we don’t heed our own thoughts, Then we’re just living a lie. That lie is the “Watch how good I must be. Believe the ME that I am not. And just ignore the ME that is in plain view. Ignore what I haven’t got.” People living this lie, destroy feelings, they wreck, they ruin, The facts they simply erase. Erase all the truth, retelling a whole new story, It’s the reality they replace. Materially they’ll win at any cost, You see, immoral narcissists are emotionally vain. Moral folks need to just leave them be, And walk away from the prevailing pain.
