Immense Pain

Immense pain.
A heart, heavy.
Strips of fabric cover the traces.
Purple and red,colors of note.
Flowers’ scent, oh so heavenly.

Immense pain.
A face, ever so pretty.
Legs standing tall.
Long neck, head ever so high.
Lips sealed,always smiling.’

Immense pain.
Long withstanding will.
Envy, people did most.
Clothes, trendiest.
Shoes, on point.

Immense pain.
Never withholding.
Always calm and serene.
Sunglasses on, no matter the weather.
Rain, wind, sun, cold.

Immense pain.
Rope, close by.
A big yard, no one could see.
A tree so tall, so inviting.
Stripped naked, no more hiding.

Immense pain.
She felt one last time.
Letter, she did not leave.
Naked body, will bear testimony.
The story behind it all will surface.
