Imbibe

I’m here with you and wanting you.
You have to see that this is true.
Look deep into these eyes of mine.
Imbibe me like a cherry wine.

My eyes of green are drinking in
your eyes, your smile, your mocha skin.
My eyes are stars that for you shine.
Imbibe me like a cherry wine.

Your mouth is beautiful to me.
I think how sweet that it must be - 
like cherries ripened on the vine.
Imbibe me like a cherry wine.

Oh, kiss me now; I cannot wait
to taste your lips. Don’t hesitate.
I’ve given you now every sign.
Imbibe me like a cherry wine.

And quite romantic though I think the lover is more concerned with the cherry win I prefer French red wine, the Bordeaux and the Cabernet being my favorites.
