Imagine These
Imagine these…
What I gravely abhor,
Now I do with ease;
And an adult had his shirt tore,
A child is the one I tease;
I am the first among my peers,
All I got is only pears;
But the last amongst us all,
They offered the best gift of all;
I laid on the floor for saying the truth,
Never knew it’s a taboo here;
But then, a man who behaved like a brute,
Is the one they want to hear;
A man who needs my help,
Is the one who wants me in a trap;
The lame woman I saw in a bus,
Surprisingly is my new boss;
My father bought a new car,
But it was bashed in his old bar;
I sincerely love God,
And that’s all I’ve got;
To many I am a stark fool,
And one who hardly knows the rule;
A fool for nothing,
For that I need true liberating;
They say.
