Imagine It

You open your eyes, and the world fades You close your eyes, and become a memory Imagine a biting chill deep in your bones A sanctuary for your age to reveal itself The world is beautiful when you close your eyes That is what the trees whispered to me But they're dying bitter deaths In a world that doesn't care for them Imagine every beautiful moment in your life Obscured by the ugly vision of one who hates you Imagine their anguish every time you smile It's a chill that rattles their very breath You close your eyes, and become a memory You open your eyes, and the world fades We're all fighting for life here But if we didn't have to...imagine it
