It is all the words lost, the swirling, the missing dates and this slow evil poison filling me and the darkness is creeping, creeping closer each day. Give me your hands. Do I know you? It is the pain, the pain that endures . . . Now, flashes of beauty brightly spin and fade, oh endless emptiness and lost words on my tongue. And the wasting away of my soul, no more poetry . . . For my safety I retreat- I leave this world for silence to the past, the past, the past, where everything is pretty and happy. Oh, the reaching- the endless reaching for words and names. Failure, failure, don't disturb my dreamy dream, where only I dwell, happy! Now, give me my dolly ! Remember, oh remember our bleeding love lost, darlings evermore in a magic land I dwell, where I am a beauty, venturing and meandering, just a shadow of me . . . Ever and beyond, my darlings, adieu, adieu ! Please, remember me after forever when this heart beats no more. _______________________ December 14, 2017 Poetry/Acrostic/Imagine, After Forever Copyright Protected, ID 17-9720-71-0 All Rights Reserved. BW, this poem, reaching back into the after of forever seeps into the heart of the reader. Beautifully written, filled with the "imagery" of loss. A gently flowing Acrostic, well done. Thanks for participating in the contest.

This is gorgeous BW. I didn't realize it was an acrostic until after I read it and looked at the form. Wonderful.
