Imagine

Imagine if you got the news that the person you ignored today was found dead
You'd wish you would have acted different and go over what you should have said
Imagine if the person you fell out with got cancer today
Imagine finding out they have a month left to live, what would you say?

People always seem to think there will be a tomorrow
If you hold grudges or ignore loved ones it'll only end in sorrow
If you can cope with that then who am I to judge?
People die every second, some not  knowing they were loved

Imagine if you found out a loved one was self-harming would you judge?
If they had suicidal thoughts, would you talk to them and give them a hug?
Would you call them weak and tell them to just get over it?
You'll regret saying that, if they do it and they'll be the one you miss

Imagine if a friend sent you a text now and you don't reply
Then they get hit by a car and die
We waste our time, pushing loved ones away and holding grudges and hiding feeling
Life's short, forgive, move on, love, and share love while your heart's beating
