Imagine

Imagine that we never met In love we never fell Where would we both be now If the past were to tell. Imagine all the times we’d miss All the fun that we two had Sedona and California It would really be quite sad. Imagine no intimate moments No whisperings of love, no touch, no kiss We wouldn’t know each other I suppose we would not miss. Imagine your life without me As I imagine mine without you Not a pretty picture it makes As one instead of two. Imagine never growing old With your soulmate lost to fate It would only take a fleeting moment To walk right past that gate. Imagine now the present The love that we two share Thank god every minute What could have been despair.
