Imagination echoes softly
Reality a booming roar 
When I was a child I had perfect ears
But I don't hear that whisper anymore
I'm sure I heard that whisper once before

the child grew up, reminds me of Comfortably numb. nice write Jesse with a hidden call to never forget ur desires in life.

That's probably at least partly true, but I also just think we get disillusioned and stop believing for more than what we've come to expect.
