Imaginary Love On a Winter Night
Outside the winds howl but inside its warm
I dream of past lovers and become aroused
sexual memories flood my soul and I am lost
in sexual reveries
Real lovers have problems imaginary ones don't
tomorrow another work week starts but tonight
I will tuck my worries away, dim the lights and
" fantasize "
Fantasy can free us from bitter realities of life
allowing us happier times when kisses were sweet
passion can disappear like the blink of an eye but
"perfect dreams do not"
She walks in and all of a sudden I am in deep persuit
of two blueberry eyes and a flowy scented negligee
we are a menagerie a deux immersed in fleshy tone
"skin deep "
sexual memories flood my soul as I lose myself again
" in sexual reveries "
