Images of You

I MOVE
AROUND AND AROUND
TRYING TO GET THE RIGHT IMAGE
OF YOU
IN MY MINDS EYE

I COME
CLOSER AND CLOSER
AND THEN BACK OFF
SEEKING THE RIGHT COMPOSITION
OF YOU AND EVERYTHING ELSE

I MOVE
IN AND OUT
FOCUSING SHARPLY
ON THOSE THINGS
THAT SHOULD STAND OUT

AND BLURRING THOSE THINGS
THAT SHOULD BE LEFT
IN THE BACKGROUND
VAGUE IMAGES
BEST FORGOTTEN
