When your eyes close at night do you know I'm not far..
Do you dream in flight like on a Ferris wheel up in a star..
Are your pillows clouds that comfort you like a babies cradle..
Do they soothe your sleep or stir you mind like soup from a ladle...
Do you see my eyes covering you and absorbing your beauty like dessert...
Taking your soul as you lay and rest and keeping it from getting hurt...
I'm your angel during the night and your devil when its right...
But always protect you from the bad, and promise never to make you sad...
