I'm waiting for the man in the sky

They tell us to believe
That for god we have to give and not expect to receive
That god will fix us
That god will help us
That god is the one to always put first

But maybe
The strange man in the sky
Cannot determine the path of I
Who stares at a world full of
Hunger and pain

The men who cannot refrain
The cities that barely remain
The peace that never came

Waiting
Twisted truths
And religion

Are they not the same?

(Disclaimer ?? I do not believe in God however I do not discriminate those who do and I respect others religions and their beliefs. These are just my opinions.)
