I'M Still Here
I'm Still Here ....
I wish you would stop hiding
And share with me your pain.
You know I'm always here
And will comfort you in this rain.
I might not understand everything
But I'm here to do my part
Help you climb this mountain
From the very start.
Its hurts me every day
To know that you're so down.
The only reason I'm where I am
Is because you help me to keep strong.
You've guided me all my life
and seen me at my worst.
You've been my pillar of strength,
every time those tears would burst.
I really miss the old you.
My Protector, my Guiding Light.
The one who always understands me
And makes everything alright.
So this is me reminding you
The words that you use to say
That this is not the end
And everything will be okay.
It maybe a little stormy right now
But soon the sun will shine right thru.
The dark clouds will break away
And you can always start anew.
So this is my promise I make to you
And reminding you I'm still here.
Let me help you climb this uphill path
And help diminish all your fears...
