I'm sorry to me
In the quiet of my thoughts, I hear the echoes of the thousand unsaid words, Whisper of forgiveness I never granted, To the one who needed it most-"Myself"
I'm sorry for the promises broken, The dream left by the wayside, For the times I let the world's weight Bend my spirit, And forget to carry my own heart.
I,m sorry for harsh words, The once I spoke in mirror, For the nights I let shadows linger, When I should reached for the light.
I owe you the love I, ve given others, The kindness I have spread so thin, Like a blanket too small for the winter's chill, And left you shivering, Alone, in the cold.
But this movement, I offer you my hands, Steady and warm, To rebuilt what was lost, To mend the fractures time has made.
I forgive you for the mistakes, For the stumbles and falls, And I promise to remember, That you, too, deserve The grace I've always sot to give.
This is an apology wrapped in love, A vow to cherish the sole I've so often set aside. I'm here now, And I'll stay
