I'm So Confused

As I sat at the North Pole, I was feeling glum.
Directions there make me reckon I'm dumb.
"Jeepers, how can I go North one mile?"
I mulled this over for quite a while,
then thought, "How do I go one mile East or West?".
I didn't go nowhere, and became more depressed.
Finally, I decided to go South with great fear,
"Will I end up in the East or the West hemisphere?"

Howdy, Kim! Chess -uhoh, flashbacks to my 0 and 500 record against my brother. Anywhere, I move either a piece gets captured or, "checkmate".

Hello David, I like how the North Pole serves as both a literal setting and a metaphor for a moment when logic just loops back on itself, leaving you standing still in the middle of a literal and figurative "nowhere." sharp, rhythmic take on a very specific kind of disorientation. Now I feel confused. Blessings, Daniel

Hi Daniel, thanks for the visit - looks like you have a nice St. Pat's jacket! Haha, if I've confused one person, it makes my day, but if I can confuse everyone, well...what can I say - now we're all confused - lol!
