I'M Not Afraid of Dogs

I'm not afraid of dogs
Why, they're as harmless as frogs
First they growl and bark at me
Then they lift up their leg and pee

One hound tried to act real tough
By tugging hard at my pants cuff
I cleared my throat with a giant roar
Off the hound fled, on all fours

Another mutt jumped up on me
  He thought himself quite scary
I quickly choked him half to death
He slunk away, out of breath

Yet there was one time, I admit
That a dog got to me a little bit
This gorgeous female French poodle
Perched on my lap and canoodled

Ha, ha! You're right about this having 'no bite,' Pete. That's what happens when I take out the hound's dentures, I guess... Tidings of Joy, Gershon
