I'M Not

People talk
People say
That you want to rock me all day
I'm not conceited
I don't think I'm damn fine
But hey babe step in line

People watch
People see
Boys watch me
But they don't want me for me
My mind pushes their egos to side
I don't want to be a random girl at their bedside
When the sun rise
I know they don't want me for me
But boys they just keep on watching me

People think
You would think
That I've got the strut of the savvy
Self esteem through the sky
A swagger full of style
But my confidence isn't always going to the full mile

People drink
I would drink a lot
Drink a whole lot
Judgment deferred
That's what it takes to make you preferred
When the bottle's half empty
You can do anything you want to me
Judgment impaired
Like you or not
Too drunk to care

People talk
People say
People watch
People see
People think
You would think
People drink
I would drink a lot
But I'm everything I'm not

Contradiction
Strange to be
But I'm everything I'm not
