I'M Just Me

So I'm into fashion,

So I like design

So my ears may glisten,

And I may not mind

But just because I like it

Doesn't mean that I'm

Materialistic


So I'm a performer,

So I like to shine,

I may attract a crowd,

And I may not mind

But just because I like it

Doesn't mean that I'm

In need of attention


So let me clarify

The reason for this rhyme,

This is what I like to do

When I have spare time

But just because I do it

Doesn't mean that I'm

Trying to gain recognition


People just assume,

But never understand

I'm not doing this for you

I do it cause I can

I just like to live

Jealousy is not the plan

I have good intentions
