I'M Just Getting Started

You hear I've been workin' hard slavin' away, word by word you imagine, how far I've gotten but I'm just gettin' started. Breathin' life into their world shapin' each and every thing Weavin' a tale, tying the ends up but I'm just gettin' started. Goin' back, fillin' in the holes Making sure each plot line has a smooth, clean road The story flows, like a river full of toads but I'm just gettin' started. Brick to brick, mortar to mortar, Findin' a publisher, makin' a quarter. You'd think I'm through, but I'll tell the truth to you- I'm just gettin' started.

I hope you get it finished Astrid I am sure writing a book is a real challenge, that's why i love writing poetry as you can build up a collection of poems without having to follow one theme:-) hugs Jan xx

Thanks Jan! I have the entire book planned out. I'm on Chapter 8, but I know the entire plot, I just have to write it.
