I'm just a human, nothing more, nothing less
I'm just a human, nothing more, nothing less,
Drowned in dreams that life will not confess.
Weary of the burden of the world's empty demands,
Breaking my soul with invisible hands.
No savior, no hero, I'm just a man.
The incantation is carved in my ribs,
Swirled in my veins,
Woven through the fibers of destiny.
I called you once, and I'll call you again,
Until the universe itself bows to my will.
A poet crafts prayers unknowingly.
Their desires are sent into the universe, and a time will come
When they are fulfilled. I believe they'll hold their wishes in their palms
And suddenly remember that piece they wrote
Asking for what they now possess.
With every word, with every syllable that flows,
A poem is born like a river that goes
Through valleys of the unknown and hidden desires,
Carrying me on a path where hopes are inspired.
We are just humans, with dreams and wishes,
With hearts beating in rhythms of uncertainties.
I may not be a hero, but my words
Carry the weight of my inner worlds.
And maybe, one day, when the stars fall,
I'll find my fulfilled desires in my palms,
And I'll smile, knowing I called the universe
With my simple poetry.
