Im Here For You
Everything she kept inside just kept dragging her down
Even though on the outside she’d smile, inside it was all a frown
She took a good beating everyday, even if it was just his words
She felt as if God had given up, and she ended up in a curse.
She tried to do right everyday by treating others great
But day by day nothing changed all she was to him was bait.
Someone to pick on, someone to degrade and often someone to abuse
You wonder why for so many years all she knew was how to use.
It Killed her happiness, killed her pride but mostly her self esteem
If only her life had ended up like her siblings she would have the perfect dream.
But nope, they were perfect in everyone’s eyes and she was always the black sheep
Until one day she woke up and decided to take a big leap!
She got rid of him, she kicked the drugs and stopped drinking Too
If this sounds like you or you have been here just know I’m here for you.
