I'm Crying Too

You said I was the Sun.
Will you come out of your hiding, Moon?
My rays are weary still.
I have not seen your smile
In quite a while.
I thought our bond was fervent still.
Still, still, still
I don’t see your special light.
Your light that takes over when I feel
Burned out.
We both shine a light
That takes on two different forms of
Darkness.
Now that you’ve disappeared,
Must I take on both at once?
I’ve already
Reached my limit
And
The Stars are crying.
