Im Coming Home

One more sleepless night
As the plane is touching down
Those same old thoughts and feelings
Come before I reach the ground

I know this life is hard on you
It seems I’m always on the road
You’re raising our sweet family
It hurts to know you're all alone

So please hold on
I’m struggling each and every day
Singing songs about our life
Sometimes doesn’t seem worth the pay

Just know you’re with me
In each of our love songs
I’m coming home girl
I’m coming home

Another show on Sunday
Another day away from you
I'm singing your favorite song
Young kids in love without a clue

Your love inspired the words
Our life wrote the melodies
Who could have guessed - millions singing
Loves songs bout you and me

It’s early in the morning
Another plane – another town
The same sick thoughts and feeling
Come as I touch the ground

One more show
You’re with me in all our love songs
I’m coming home girl
I'm coming home

So please hold on
I’m struggling - and I’m on my way
Singing songs about our life
Sometimes doesn’t seem worth the pay

Just know you’re with me
In each of our love songs
I’m coming home girl

I’m coming home

Just know you’re with me
In each of our love songs
I’m coming home girl

I’m coming home

Another good one Kelly, I could feel the frustration of not being together, but at the same time determination to return, reminds me of Home by Michael Buble!

Thanks John, I like yours the same! Has anyone recorded your songs?
