Notes About The Poem

This is for those persons who turn out okay. Without strife, to turn and say thank you for my life.

I'M Blessed

I'm Blessed. Had no dysfunctions in my life, no parents who drank or gave me strife. I'm blessed. Turned out well; no chance this child will reach Hell. I'm Blessed - raised by a single mom. had my share of fuss; no harm. I'm Blessed - not many turns or say because maybe I turned and prayed. I'm Blessed my life is still going. And I'm Blessed in still knowing. No siblings, child or husband now. But still I'm Blessed I don't know how. I take this time to say, thank you, Lord, for making me this way.
