Im Back
Remember when we were more than just a set of eyes?
Reading what others write.
Remember when we knew who everyone was?
And what was happening in their lives?
I have made some good friends here.
Some who have helped me through some great fears?
I know I am not alone when I say,
That sometimes you need poetry soup to get away.
To turn to the friends who understand you most.
The friends that will sit up with you late at night just to write,
Because they know how it feels to be in that spot too.
I noticed I had many views but what happened to you?
I miss the poetry soup I once knew.
Where a comment would be seen for every view.
I know everyone is busy in their lives out there.
But wouldn’t it be nice to see a comment or two.
Glad to be back on poetry soup.. I have missed many of you ?
