I'M An Extremist

I'm an extremist...

I believe in extreme kindness
That it's possible for each of us to exemplify the best of goodness
It costs nothing to be kind to everyone
Because, contrary to social media posts
Everyone is struggling with something

I believe in extreme miracles
That every single atom and energy molecule is a miracle
Everything is energy and part of the Universe in its infinite greatness
Because we are made from stardust and 
We can shine and touch lives everywhere

I believe in extreme decency
That every single person is born inherently good
And capable of the best version of themselves
Because we are exceptional and unique
We have a purpose and can choose the right path always

I believe in extreme integrity
That striving to lead by example in the best possible way
Is up to each of us
Because we are the light and can choose to shine
We are here to make a positive difference

I believe in extreme honour
That is exemplified each day by those individuals who choose to honour their countries 
In the defence of freedom and what is right
Because sometimes honour means war
For we are not immune to injustice and hardships

I believe in extreme trust
That is shown by every creature born into a world 
Filled with many challenges and heartaches
Because trust in each other is all we can do sometimes
For we show our humanity by being vulnerable

I believe in extreme faith
That we exhibit daily by showing up for ourselves, our loved ones
And for our colleagues, leaders and nations
And moreover believing in a power greater than us
Because faith is sometimes all we have to cling on to in the dark
For we are afraid and yet we believe

I believe in extreme hope
That despite the turmoil that exists globally in every sphere of life
We still do our best and hope for the best
Because hope is looking to a better future 
For our children need hope to look forward to

I believe in extreme peace
For at our core, we all seek peace
We build communities and families
We build companies and nations
And only by embracing peace can
We communicate with one another
In the most constructive way 

I believe in extreme love
That we as human beings have the capacity for deep and abiding love
Sometimes for total strangers
Because our hearts are big and our souls are infinite
As we are magnificent beings of light; and love is our purest nature

I'm an extremist... for all that is good
Join me, and become an extremist too
