Oh I know I promised I'd never leave
I'd always stay by your side
Tho' Heaven has taken me, Love, please don't grieve
For that oath, I still abide

I know our nighttime came much too soon
But I'll light your dark with the stars and the moon
And when you feel alone
Just look up to the sky
And I'll be right here

You'll see my smile in faces that greet you
You'll know my words in songs that you hear
And every time your heart beats
I'll be speaking to you
In the voice of your soul
That I'm always here
