I'M Always Right Here

I look at the fields now covered with snow,
your footsteps are hidden below'
and just like the memories that linger inside
they tread softly on my soul.

Forever the nighttime will drag through the hours
with prayers that one morning the sunlight will show,
you are always right there, with a toss of your hair
....and those smiles to hold.

I surely know forever will find you,
I surely know what heaven will bring,
I only know you are there and I'm always right here
where the sun and the sand and my heart will wait.

on the edge of the surf that washes your toes
and I picture you there, with a peek through your hair
and that mischievous grin that my heart loves so...
